Does violent television promote violence in kids? And does it do the same in games? Shouldn't kids be smart enough to no that in cartoons every one survives, and that if you pushed your friend off the empire state building he wouldn't? Or in video games that if you get shot there is no saving and loading the game its just plain THE END. Crime and punishment

Should there allways be punishment for a crime? Does it depend on how big or little the crime is?
If you stole food because you were homeless does that mean you should go to jail? there are definetly crimes that arn't needed and some that people live off. I think that if some one steals somthing to survive they shouldn't be punished, much atleast. But if the crime wasn't needed like killing someone the person should be punished shouldn't they?

people's opinion's on guitars

I frankly love the things to bits and of course I play guitar. Many people wonder how people can love guitars, they just see them as pieces of wood with strings and a neck. How can they say that?! They can sound incredible and they look awesome (some of the time). Why can't people just see them as a benefit to society?

Whats the problem with them? People are allways fussing over them, they're only animated so whats the problem? Esrb are silly for rating games, sure it gives people a warning but then the parents restrict them from playing the ones they want. It doesn't make children violent either, it might make them want to kill people in video games but unless they're freaks they shouldn't go round stabbing people in the back should they? And also if they do that it proves they're video game addicts which isn't good, you can have an obssesion sure but becoming an addict is bad, trust me i would know...

what is the balance between work and play?

I know it sounds stupid but sometimes i wonder, is there even a difference? After all isn't work supposed to be fun? So if it is there shouldn't be a balance it should allways be fun. Or people just hate there jobs so theres no balance, personally I think its either one or the other so there isn't balance because its either fun which can be working and fun or theres just work which isn't fun.

how many people have them?

How many people have bad computers is what I'm asking. I sometimes wonder if its just a coincidence that all my friends have good ones and my family don't. Its rather annoying aswell, you can't install anygood games on it and it will take ages to do anything. We recently got a flat screen monitor for the computer and its starting to get on my nerves, it makes everything look like xp (classic styles) and you can lose yourself in the idea but then you go to do something and all the exitement is gone. So answer honestly do you have a bad computer?

Just recently some terrorist leader has been killed by the americans and has been all over newzealand news today and I'm wondering how does it affect us? See we don't get terrorist attacks do we? So why do we care about it?

bakery downfall

Was it worth it? The elite bakery in wellington has recently raised prices 20 cents from what they were and its quite shocking what it can do to business, it lost all most my whole school as customers. I wouldn't say its a major but wouldn't you be disappointed? Well our school has about 90 students about 20 to 30 would buy from there and it varies in what they buy, that could be at least a hundred dollars of loss every day. The shocking thing was how much difference a small rise makes to a student. Maybe they did it because of the petrol prices, cause of the transporting of the food and all that. I admit I did buy from there the other day to see if it was still any good but I was suprised that it wasn't. It hadn't stayed as good it got worse, maybe they lost money and had to cut quality of there food?

stupid crossing road people

i really get sick and tired of idiots who make life difficult because they can't stand to cross roads safely. now i'm not a control freak or anything but when it gets in your way, for instance i was sitting on the bus on the way home from school (in wellington) and the bus is picking people up in lambton quay, and surprise, surprise some idiot has to step out into the road, run in front of a cyclist, the cyclist swerves out of the way of the "idiot" allmost hits the stopped bus and the idiot caused all of this just to say hi to a friend on the other side of the road. really annoys me, then about five minutes later something similar happens again, a lady runs across the road onto what some people call a traffic island waits just until the bus pulls out onto the road and runs in front...
